This is my first week of work. There are so many new things to learn and new people to meet. I am still a little overwhelmed by the situation, but I love new challenges and I am sure the Lord will have more new things in store for me to come.
One thing to explore is the surroundings of where I work. Seems to be at an 'inconvenient' spot in HK. I quote the word because I think everywhere in HK is basically convenient. It's just that the spot is neither close to MTR nor KCR, which are two major HK railways. At least I don't need to drive an hour from Milpitas to Lafayette anymore - a total waste of $$ and gas!
Lots of Japanese restaurants in the surroundings. Other kinds of food as well: I had yu dan fun one day, and yum cha on the other. There is also the usual Cafe de Coral and McDonald's. As usual, busy streets with people and vehicles. A very lively neighborhood.
