Today when I was sitting at the table having dim-sum after my house moving, my mind got back-tracked and went back to the past. On 3/18/1999, it was my last birthday spent in Michigan before graduating. That day, Abe, Alex, Michael, Monique, and I went to the best restaurant in downtown Grand Rapids and we had a great dinner together. The main courses were so fantastic. I still remember the surprise dessert and the b-day song they sang for me. I remembered the bill was US$25 per head and it was the most expensive dinner I ever had in my life at that time.
Today, 7 years later, another four friends helped me move. I realized time passes, but friends can be made anywhere, anytime. This time, it was Dabby, Edwin, Patrick and Peter. They came over to my place and we stuffed my belongings onto the SUV. And then we went to my parent's place and unloaded the things together. Afterwards we had lunch together nearby. We ordered so much food at this semi-fancy dim-sum restaurant at Cupertino, Sunnyvale. At the end of lunch I had to pack up the food home. Everyone just so enjoyed the food and the company and time passes so quickly.
Thank You folks. Without you guys life will be very much less exciting and enjoyable.
